Picnic and Exploration at Lake of the Woods 🧺🌲🚣♀️
We’ll be driving up to Mahomet to have a picnic and explore Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve (https://www.champaignforests.org/lake-of-the-woods-mahomet-illinois)! Grab a lunch either in Chambana or Mahomet, bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs, and join us by the lake for fellowship and food. After lunch, we can do a variety of activities: including (but not limited to) taking a walk through the forest preserve and attached botanical garden, playing lawn games/volleyball/spikeball, or going out on the lake via paddleboat or kayak. A lowkey time outside of town to enjoy the summer weather while it lasts.
